characteristic

We plan to implement many features in Logfire. Here are some of them.

Server-side cleanup of sensitive data

Logfire TheSDK cleans sensitive data from the client logs before sending it to the server.

We plan to implement similar cleanup on the server side for other OpenTelemetry clients.

We will also support temporary cleanups of banks.

set up a team

you willBe able to createorganized team.

For more information, see this GitHub issue.

alerts and notifications

The following features are planned for the alert and notification system:

  • Slack integration
  • email integration
  • Webhook integration

Alerts are based on SQL queries (preset templates for common situations) that run periodically to determine if a new event has occurred.

For more information, see this GitHub issue.

Links to GitHub source code

You will be able to go directly from the Logfire UI to the GitHub repository and view code for logfire calls or exceptions.

For more information, see this GitHub issue.

Cross-project dashboard

You will be able to create dashboards using information from multiple projects.

For more information, see this GitHub issue.

local deployment

We plan to provide Logfire with an on-premises deployment option. This will allow you to deploy Logfire on your own infrastructure.

For more information, see this GitHub issue.

schema directory

We want to build a catalog of Pydantic models/patterns as described in our roadmap article in Logfire.

The idea is that we'll use the SDK to upload the architecture of Pydantic models to Logfire. You can then observe how these architectures change and see metrics about the validation behavior performed by a particular model.

For more information, see this GitHub issue.

language support

Logfire is built on top of OpenTelemetry, which means it supports all languages supported by OpenTelemetry.

Nonetheless, we plan to create custom SDKs for JavaScript, TypeScript, and Rust, and ensure that properties are displayed in a good way in the Logfire UI-just as they are for Python.

For more information, see this GitHub issue.

automatic anomaly detection We are planning to implement an automated anomaly detection system that will be able to detect anomalies in logs and notify you without requiring you to define specific queries.
